The Program began in 1988 with the Master's Course, the first of its kind in Minas Gerais, which currently meets demands from different parts of Brazil and abroad. The Doctorate in Structural Engineering, the only one in Minas Gerais in this area and one of just a few in Brazil, began in 2000.
